1. I will be more of an aggressive and assertive person.

Predictions for 2010:
1. Southwestern University will announce they will not be able to afford a football team, but will start looking for candidates for a name change.
2. Obama’s approval rating will be above 55% at the end of 2010.
3. It will still not be the year of the Linux desktop.
4. The Apple Tablet will be released. It will run the iPhone OS, but with a unique feature: multitasking, by means of some sort of dock on the side of the screen. It’ll be a slate of glass, with 10-finger multitouch. There will be no buttons, but either a button on the side of the machine, or a heat sensitive strip, similar to the Dell Adamo. It’ll be Tegra-driven. No idea on the processor, but definitely not ARM. It’ll retail for about $999 and will be less than half an inch thick.
5. The new standard for netbook prices will be established at $350 (I hoped it would be $299, but I think it’ll be about $350).
6. ION2 will just be like its older brother – hype, and something that doesn’t target why people buy netbooks.
7. However, Desktops will get smaller and smaller, and eventually, the nettop niche of the market will catch on with the release of ION2.
8. The first bill related to Net Neutrality will be passed…in favor of the telecoms.
9. iPhone exclusivity ends, and AT&T gets caught trying to apply a branding to the iPhone so that it includes its “MediaMall” crap. Due to consumer complaints and fire from the blogosphere, they stop this. Also, the iPhone is released on Verizon as iPhone+. A Sprint version will also be announced in the works. But, TMobile won’t get any because of TMobile’s association with Google.
10. In speaking of the Big G, the Nexus One won’t really do anything, and the Droid will still be the phone that Android lovers want.
11. Chrome OS will be released on an Acer netbook in summer of 2010. Chrome OS will be very popular – not Windows XP on a netbook popular, but it had a better chance than Ubuntu did. As a result, Google will secretly plan a phone with HTC that will feature a modified version of the Chrome OS.
